My Subject Column Has Disappeared!

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

Hi Everyone,

This is just a quick post in response to the bug reports about the missing subject column after uninstalling the plugin.
By default mail DOES NOT allow you to hide the subject column, WideMail adds this ability because it is convienient to hide the column when using the “WideMail Column” if you hide the subject column and then uninstall the plugin you will not be able to retrieve the subject column via right clicking the table header row.

You must reinstall the plugin and then right click the message list table header row and unhide the subject column for each of the mailboxes that you have hidden it in.

You can then uninstall the plugin if you so wish.

On a brighter note: a new release is being prepared that fixes some bugs that have been reported and hopefully it will keep the users from uninstalling the plugin.

Cheers,

Dane
